Taylor Spirito is a Content Center Producer at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Within this position, she is part of the digital team as well as an assignment desk editor. She serves as a primary graphic designer for the web and prides herself on "winning stories" within the highly competitive Pittsburgh television market.

Taylor graduated from Point Park University in 2021 with a B.A. in broadcast reporting and a minor in creative writing. Taylor was the host of the sports show and producer of the morning show at the campus television station U-View as well as the Station Manager. She was also the vice president and treasurer of Point Park's Society of Professional Journalists, treasurer of Broadcast Education Association, board member of the Pittsburgh Center for Sports Media and Marketing, broadcaster for the Point Park Sports Network, employee at Student Production Services, and writer for The Globe Newspaper.

Outside of school, Taylor interned with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Media Relations Department. She also interned with the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Erie SeaWolves, as the Promotions Assistant, and has also served as the Promotions Assistant for WSHH 99.7.  She served as the lead entertainment crew member with the SeaWolves and spent two seasons as the on-field host. She also volunteered as game-day production for television and scoreboard with Pitt Athletics and the ACC Network.

The highlights of Taylor's work include winning a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for her contributions to WPXI's coverage of the East Palestine train derailment in 2022 and being the first female play-by-play announcer in team history for the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL.

Whenever she's not working, Taylor enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her cat, Starlight. She's also an avid sports fan and loves cheering on her favorite teams.
